Dr. Mei was born in Hong Kong, raised in Venezuela, and then after completing her residency exam in the United States, Dr. Mei moved to Canada with her husband and began working at the Foothills hospital.
While completing her Residency at Foothills Hospital (2005 – 2012), Dr. Mei worked at C-era during both her second and fourth year of residency. Once she completed her residency, she came back to C-era full-time.
With her international background, Dr. Mei is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Spanish. For patients who speak another language, having Dr. Mei able to assist and explain what is going to happen and why, helps to put her patients at ease.
